Is this normal?

So, being a new mother and all I'm just not always sure what B should or shouldn't be doing so any mothers out there reading you may have to let me know if my child is doing appropriate things!!! I couldn't believe she was doing this over the weekend, I think she may be fighting tummy time already!

Trip to Nanny and Paw Paw's

Last weekend we went toDothan to see Matt's parents and to introduce B to the family. It was a great weekend and B traveled eally well. She got to meet three great aunts (Jewel, Gail, and Linda), two great uncles (John and Styner), two cousins (Heather and April) and her aunt and uncle Jason and Tracie. It was a beautiful weekend so we got to grill out and enjoy a game of Jarts - thanks to Nanny and Paw Paw for a great weekend!

Four Hands and 1 Month!

So - the longer I'm a mom (haha its only been five weeks!) the more I'm wanting two more hands! When Matt is here to help I can get things done so much better - especially when changing a diaper or giving a bath, I'm not sure how I'm going to give a bath by myself. Fortunately I haven't had to yet but I know that day is coming soon. I'm so thankful for Matt's help and if anyone knows how I could get two more hands added to my body...or I guess train my feet...let me know! Here are some pics from our trip to Nashville - I guess I could just make this her 1 month post...

At one month Brooklyn is doing the following:

- eating

- sleeping

- pooping (Kerry got the best poop experience so far, yes mom and dad she beat yours!)

- peeing (on me and Matt a lot)

- repeat all of those 7 times a day!

Seriously - that is pretty much all she does but she does smile some and she is starting to make little cooing noises. She is sleeping really well at night (I hope I'm not jinxing myself) she goes from 10:30 until 4:00 then after a bottle she will sleep until I wake her up at 7:30. If we can keep this up I just might make it! :)

So, I promise I'll someday blog about something other than my child...but for now, that is all I'm doing - keeping her alive! :) She's doing great - better than me probably! Here's an updated pic or two - I just love her! Oh - and she is one month on Tuesday - CRAZY! I'll post some facts abt her on Tuesday or well, somewhere around Tuesday - all the days are still running together.

Brookie and Happy B'day Brad!

Brooklyn has been sleeping a lot lately! I'm choosing to enjoy it trying to rest and get a few things done. I think she truely hasn't "woken up" yet!

Happy B'day Brad! We celebrated with some ice cream cake last night, thanks to Brad and Elena for letting us partake in the b'day cake!

When she's awake she loves the monkey on her bouncy seat - she only looks at the monkey! I have to tilt her body to show her the elephant and the giraffe!
